| The
Beaten Docket, Great Victoria Street,
Belfast |
The Beaten Docket is one of Belfast's
famous pubs and has experienced bomb
and fire damage due to the troubles
over the years. Its most recent damage
wasn't down to terrorists, rather it
was the work of the deep fat fryer.
The kitchen is located on the first
floor and the fire destroyed all of
the kitchen appliances, steelwork and
usual kitchen fittings. Smoke damage
affected the large bar, lounge and night-club
area, as well as the toilets and adjoining
hallways. We were appointed by Cunningham
Lindsey to carry out restoration and
cleaning works. This project was a great
example of successfully working with
lots of stakeholders: the bar manager
and staff, the bar owner company, the
loss adjuster, a loss assessor, the
kitchen fitters, the decorators and
AV technicians. Good reporting and communication
to the main parties was vital for the
swift and successful restoration and
re-instatement.

| Mr
Gaston, South Belfast |
|
After a long day's work our on-duty
senior technician received a call
on our free phone number late in the
evening from a property owner who
had returned from holidays to find
terrible damage from a burst pipe
on the 2nd floor of his Victorian
period home. The property was sold
and due to complete in just over two
weeks time! We attended the site at
9pm that evening with 2 technicians.
After a thorough assessment and receiving
an authorised mandate from the client
the technicians set about carrying
out the emergency work of stripping
out unrestorable contents and debris.
Drying equipment was installed and
monitored over the next 2 weeks. Subsequently
a loss adjuster attended the property
and was very satisfied with our work.
We dried the building; dried, cleaned
& re-fitted carpets, dried and
cleaned upholstered suites and delivered
them to the client's storage company
all in time for the completion date.
" Thank
you again for your excellent services
in the most fraught circumstances".
Mr Gaston

| Austins
Department Store, The Diamond, Londonderry.
("as seen on TV!") |
Summer rains resulted in widespread
flooding in Derry last year with many
homes and businesses affected. Among
the many properties which we dealt with
in the city was the famous Austins Department
Store, the oldest department store in
Ireland. The basement of the building
was flooded with raw sewage leaving
a 3-inch deep deposit behind as the
waters subsided. We were called in to
remove the sewage and excess water and
clean & sanitise the whole affected
area. We had to carry out this work
whilst allowing the store to remain
open. It took our team 3 days to successfully
remove all the sediment and make the
building safe with a further week to
dry it out. Throughout this swift and
safe project customers where able to
shop without any interruption from our
works.

| University
of Ulster |
We were contacted by the University
in relation to a particularly gruesome
suicide and a crew were immediately
dispatched to deal with the incident.
Body fluid contamination was spread
throughout a large area in a number
of rooms. The technicians successfully
cleaned and sanitised the building.
A large amount of contaminated furniture,
flooring and other debris required safe
removal and disposal. The building was
fumigated with an anti-microbial agent
and an ozone air purifier appliance
was installed. The swift response and
competent approach of CleanTec Restoration
Services enabled the building to be
ready for use within a matter of hours
